about

One person. Whole systems.

Pattern3 is Will Patterson: founder, consultant, and the engineer who ships the work. Based in Oklahoma City, building AI automation for small and mid-sized businesses that are tired of doing robot work by hand.

Right now that means a year-long embedded contract with a healthcare-technology platform company in the enterprise EMR-integration space: internal tooling, data automation, and AI enablement, shipped inside someone else’s stack. Before that: healthcare, construction materials, and consumer products. Different industries, same pattern: find the workflow that hurts, automate it, hand it back better.

The route here was not a straight line.

Will grew up in Italy, surrounded by things that were built to be beautiful and built to last. An early education in design he didn’t know he was getting. Then came pre-med at Baylor, which left him with two durable habits: systematic thinking and a deep respect for getting the diagnosis right before touching anything.

Pattern3 is what those threads became. Not a software vendor, not an agency, a consultancy that treats every business like a system worth understanding before it gets automated. The name is the method: every operational problem has a pattern, and once you can see it, you can build the fix.

“People first, technology second. A lesson that started long before the consulting did.”

01

Systems over software

Nobody needs another tool to log into. The work is mapping how a business actually runs, where hours leak and data dies in inboxes, and building automation that fits the system that already exists.

02

Human-centered AI

AI should make a team feel sharper, not replaceable. Every build starts with the person who has to use it on a Tuesday afternoon, and gets designed backwards from there.

03

Show up. Ship. Stick around.

No discovery theater, no 40-page strategy deck. Working software lands on a date, the team gets trained on it, and Will is still answering the phone a month later.

You talk to the builder

Pattern3 is one person on purpose. The consultant who scopes the work is the engineer who ships it. Nothing gets lost in a handoff because there isn’t one.

Working software, fast

First working version in weeks, not quarters. Built on your stack, wired into your existing tools, demoed live, then refined against how your team actually uses it.

Built to outlast the engagement

Everything ships with documentation and a walkthrough, so your team owns it. The goal is systems that keep working after the contract ends, not dependency.

systems shipped

Internal tools, automations, and AI workflows in production, not prototypes in a drawer.

0

industries served

Healthcare, construction materials, consumer products. The patterns transfer.
